3. Jasper J. Brown, born 1844 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
4. Alva C. Brown, born c. 1846/47; married to Emma F. Northrup on November 6, 1880 in Peoria County: Emma may have been the daughter of James and Barbara Northrup, who are known to have had a daughter, Mary E. Northrup, who was born in 1862; Even though Emma is listed as Emma F, Northrup in the marriage record, she is buried as Emma M. Brown on the Brown family lot and recorded as being born in 1862.
5. Lucius D. Brown, born c. 1847 in Ohio
6. Emma L. Brown, born c. 1856/57 in Illinois

James P. Brown and 8 other members of the Brown Family are buried in Lot 227 in Mt. Prospect in Springdale Cemetery. Lot 227 is an odd-shaped 8-grave lot; seven of the graves are all in a row, and the 8th grave is located by itself and aligned with the grave of the infant child of AC & EF Brown in Grave 1.
