Addie Pinegar Moore was a member of the Womens Christian Temperance Union before 1900, she went to conventions all over Id, moved to Portland OR before 1910, husband and daus. Effie & Bessie stayed in Boise, Thomas Judson Moore also. Effie & Bessie traveled, CA & Astoria OR for trips 1900-10. After TJ Moore died 1918 they all moved to Oakland Ca bought a boarding house. Addie was the president of WCTU there. Addie had a sister Martha Ellen "Ella" Pinegar McCreary, m. Sanders 1887, Nov. 1888 m. McCreary, had a son Nov 1888. divorced McCreary 1993, he was a small time local criminal, went to prison. Ella is the mystery no record of her after 1893, her parents raised the boy. That family had a lot of alcohol related arrests. Probably what drove Addie to join WCTU. People never talked about women being alcoholics.
