Word has been received by friends and relatives of the death of Robert Culler, 65, of Pierson, Iowa, August 23. He was the son of the late Mr. & Mrs. David Culler who formerly lived in the Hickory College School District. He is survived by his wife Mary; one sister Jennie Shriver of Elgin, Illinois; two brothers Edward Culler of Cleveland, Alabama, and Curtis Culler of Pierson, Iowa. Funeral services and interment were in Pierson.

According to the World War I draft registration card, he was 6 foot height and medium built with grey eyes, and brown hair, and that he had spinal injury, that occurred when he was young. He was born in Weilersville, Wayne County, Ohio. Also he was listed as a farm hand for his brother Curtis Culler. He signed his name as Robert Orvel Culler.
