Jennie (Culler) Shriver of 12 walker place in Elgin, Illinois passed away on May 3, after a long lingering illness. She was born November 14, 1873 in Ohio. Her husband Aaron F. Shriver, minster of the Church of the Brethren who served in Ohio, preceded her in death some thirty-seven years ago. She lived in Elgin for thirty-two years with her daughters, Ruth and Helen. She was a active member of the Church of the Brethren as long as her health permitted.
Of her five brothers, Charles Culler, George Culler, Edward Culler, Curtis and Robert Culler. Edward of Cleveland, Alabama and Curtis of Arnold's Park, Iowa are still living. Survivors also include a number of nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held in the Stout Funeral Home in Elgin on May 4 at 4:30, conducted by the Rev. Glen McFadden. The body was returned to Ohio where grave side services were held on Tuesday afternoon with burial in the Center Church Cemetery, Louisville. The Rev. Harlan Grubb, pastor of the Center Church of the Brethren, was in charge of the services.
