Mrs. Alleva Weekly, 81, of 85 Kenilworth Drive, Painesville Township, died Monday afternoon at Lake County Memorial Hospital following a lingering illness.
She was born on Jan. 19, 1881, in Kanawha, W.Va. She had been a resident of the Pinesville area for the past 19 years.
Her husband, Charles, preceded her in death in January, 1939.
Surviving are three sons, Ernest Weekly, Ira Weekly and Charles Weekly, all of Painesville; two daughters, Mrs. Robert Phillips and Mrs. Alice Digman, both of Painesville,; a sister, Mrs. Pearl Whitehair, of Clarksburg, W.Va.; three brothers, George Koplinger sic of Painesville, Jesse Koplinger sic of Newall, W.Va. and Gordon Koplinger sic of Cleveland; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Spear Funeral Home tonight from 7 to 9 and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. at Lakeside Baptist Church, Painesville Township. Rev. Robert D. Hughes, pastor, will officiate.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
