Funeral for Mrs. Ada Taplin, 72, was held Monday afternoon at. 2 o’clock In Mount
Olive Baptist Church here, with Rev. Meron officiating and burial following in
Mitchell County cemetery.
Mrs. Taplin died early Saturday in Root Memorial Hospital where she was under
treatment for a fractured hip.
She was born May 26, 1891 in Robertson County and was married to Charlie Taplin
in 1941 at Cameron. She was a member of Mount Olive Church and of the Eastern
Star.
Her husband of Colorado City and a daughter. Mrs. Lannetta McGee of Altus, Oklahoma
and 3 grandchildren survive.
