GENE HENRY BOTTOLFSEN, 71, of Stillman Valley died Tuesday Sept. 4, 2012 in Serenity Hospice Home, Oregon. He was born Dec. 15, 1940 in Wynot, NE the son of Charles Kenneth & Esther Klandrud Bottolfsen. Gene was a retired pilot and aircraft mechanic of the US Air Force.
Survivors include his daughters, grandchildren, sisters, and brothers. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held Monday Sept. 10, 2012 at 3:00 PM in the Farrell-Holland-Gale Funeral Home, 136 W. Roosevelt Rd., Stillman Valley with Pastor Randy Snider officiating. Burial, with military honors, will be in Byron Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Monday from 2:00 PM until service time. Memorials may be directed to Serenity Hospice & Home, 1658 S. IL Rt. 2, Oregon, IL 61061.
