Kenneth Dean Lewis, was born June 29, 1946, in Durham, Oklahoma, and died Saturday, Mary 19, 1990 in the Roger Mills Memorial Hosptial at the age of 43.
Kenneth, the son of John Albert and Eva Ester Lewis, moved to the Panhandle of Texas before moving to Colorado where he worked as a heavy equipment operater in the coal mines. He moved back to Durham to make his home in 1986.
He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by Darlene Johnson; three daughters, Shelia Eakins of Amarillo, Kathy Jones of Stinnett, Texas, Deena Lewis of Borger, Texas; three sisters, Maxine Long of Amarillo, Helen Attaway of Elk City, Loretta Earle of Craig, Colorado; three grandchildren, Nathan, Amy, and Kendra, and a host of other relative and friends.
Graveside services were held in the Silent Home Cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma Monday, May 21, 1990 at 10 a.m. with David Tosney and Jerry Calvert officiating.
