She came to Roger Mills County with her parents in 1908. On June 30, 1918 she and Nelson Warren Selby were married in Crawford. They lived in the Durham and Crawford communitites. He died in 1968. Mrs. Selby loved entertaining and making quilts. She had been a member of the Church of Christ for a number of years and was also a member of the Reydon Home Demostration Club. In addition to her husband, others who preceded her in death were her parents, one sister and four brothers.
Survivors are; one daughter, Lenora May Hooper, Perryton, Tex.; two sons, Nelson Selby, of Reydon; and Jack Selby, Oklahoma City; 7 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were today at 2 p.m. in the Reydon Community Building, with Willard Cox and Orval Kendrick officiating. Interment will follow in the Silent Home Cemetery, Roll, Roger Mills County, Oklahoma with Rose Chapel directing.
