Funeral services for Lawrence Bonser, 74, Arnett, farmer and rancher, who died Friday, June 20, 1969 at his home were held Monday at the First Baptist Church in Cheyenne with Rev. Clyde Denny and Rev. Leland Burch officiating.
Born April 23, 1896 in Seminole County, Oklahoma, he moved to Arnett from Asher, Oklahoma in early 1925. He was married to Minnie Archer at Strong City December 26, 1927. He was a 50 year member of the Baptist Church at Asher.
Survivors are his wife, Minnie, of the home, four daughters, Mrs. Bernie Faye Churchill, Durham, Mrs. Betty Workman, Edmond, Mrs. Bea Williams and Mrs. Barbara Sue Walker, both of Oklahoma City.
Six sons, Bob of Fairbanks, Alaska, Bill of Crawford, Barnard and Dale of Klamath Falls, Oregon, Bryan of Arnett, and Barney of the home. Eighteen grandchildren and four sisters, Mrs. Bernie Black, Shawnee, Mrs. Marie Ikler, Illinois, Mrs. Edna Kenadaart and Mrs. Bessie Harp, both of Riverdale, California, Three brothers Warren Parker and Bill Sullivan, St. Louis, Oklahoma.
