Bill R. Bonser, Sr., 86, passed away at his home in Klamath Falls on November 15, 2022.

Bill was born April 11, 1936 in Moorwood, Okla. to Lawrence and Minnie (Archer) Bonser. He grew up Candian River and attended high school in Arnett OK. Bill was inducted into the US Army in 1958 where he served honorably for 2 years earning commendations for marksmanship and good conduct. He married C.L "Ann" Boyd in Crawford, Okla. on March 16, 1962. They lived there and in Idaho before settling in Oregon 49 years ago. Bill was active with the Old Time Fiddlers and enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family - especially his grandkids and great-grand kids. He and Ann were members of the Baptist Church on Homedale.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Ann Bonser of Klamath Falls; daughters Becky Dye and her husband William of Klamath Falls, Brenda Schwartz and her husband Timothy of Park Rapids, Minn.; brother, Barney Bonser of Sweetwater, Okla., sisters, Beuna Williams of Oklahoma City, Okla. and Barbara Sue Pond and her husband William of Weatherford, Okla.; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Bill was preceded in death by his son Bill Bonser, Jr.; sisters, Bernie and Betty, brothers, Bob, Bernard, Boyd and Bryan.

Memorial contributions may be made to High Desert Hospice, the Baptist Church on Homedale or charity of your choice.

A memorial service will be at 1:30pm on Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2022 at Baptist Church on Homedale, 3052 Homedale Rd. in Klamath Falls, OR.
