She was united in marriage to Dr. J.N. Cross on September 27, 1915 who preceded her in death in December 1932.
Two children were born to this union. Mr. J.N. Cross, Jr. of Guymon, Oklahoma and Mrs. Robert Giezentanner (Gertie Rae) of Houston, Texas.
She accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of the Custer Bend Baptist Church, and later transferring her membership to the Fist Baptist Church of Cheyenne. At the time of her passing she was a member of the Tallowood Baptist Church of Houston where she made her home for a number of years.
She was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Mrs. Cross is survived by her children, J.N. Cross and Mrs. Robert Giezentanner, four grandchildren and three great grandchildren; four sisters Mrs. Mamie Warren of Norman, Oklahoma, Mrs. Fred Cobb (Kate) of Oklahoma City; Mrs. Lela K. Jobe of Gravette, Arkansas; Mrs. C.E. Pyatt (Bess) of Kingfisher, Oklahoma; one brother Mr. Ray H. Kendall of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Her life was exemplary of her devoted to her Savior, family and friends.
