Funeral services for Mrs. Karle F. Libe, 82, will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. in the Jones Funeral Home here with Rev. M. O. Smith in charge. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Libe, whose home was three miles southwest of Washington, died Saturday, Feb. 14, 1970 at the long term care unit of the Washington County Hospital. She has been ill several months.
Zephyr Adele White was born in Muscatine County, Iowa Feb. 19, 1887, a daughter of Edward Jordan and Minnie Mills White. She was reared in this county and married here April 17, 1907 to Karle F. Libe.
She was a member of the Methodist Church, the H. E. O. Club, and the W. S. C. S. of the Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, three sisters: Mrs. Frank (Dessie) Libe and Mrs. Floyd (Mary) Banks of Washington, and Mrs. Paul (Marjorie) Lytle of Burlington; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Three sisters preceded her in death.
