NOTE: The Bush Families of Rochester

Research indicates that Horace and Timothy Bush, also buried here, shared a common ancestor, Samuel Bush (b. 1647 - d. 1733).

Horace is descended through Samuel and his first wife Mary Goodenow (b. 1659 - d. 1687).

Timothy is descended through Samuel and his 2nd wife Abigail Lee (b. 1670 - d. 1734).

Timothy (b. 1766 - d. 1850) and Horace (b. 1767 - d. 1844) were 2nd cousins 1x removed.

It is impossible to know for certain if Horace and Timothy were aware of their family connection but family names were carried down from preivous generations, including Obadiah. What is known is both Timothy and Horace were two early settlers of Penfield.
