Ruby Bryant, age 85 of Hwy. 1729, Russell Springs, KY passed away Thursday, November 9, 2006 at her residence. She was an Adair County native and was born on March 12, 1921 to the late Taylor and Mary Kerr Bryant.
She is survived by one brother: Jesse (Irene) Bryant and three sisters: Della (Elvin) Harmon, Goldie Kell, and Esther Kell, all of Russell Springs. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Geneva Hopper. Ms. Bryant was a member of Free Union Separate Baptist Church. Funeral service was held Saturday, November 11, 2006 at 12:00 p.m. at Bernard Funeral Home Chapel in Russell Springs with Bro. Jim Goff officiating. Burial in Freedom Cemetery. Special music by God's Children. Pallbearers were: Jeffrey Hopper, Tracy Hopper, Jimmy Harmon, Tim Harmon, Michael McGowan, and Dickie Bryant.
