Goldie Hazel Bryant Kell went home to be with her Lord with her loving family by her side on March 7th, 2023, at the age of 91. Goldie was born on May 14th, 1931, to Mary Kerr Bryant and Taylor Bryant.

Goldie married Dewey Kell on October 25th, 1947 and was married for 51 years before he passed. Goldie was a homemaker and long-time member of Free Union Separate Baptist Church. Goldie loved her family, church family, and most of all Jesus.

Goldie is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband Dewey; daughter Shelia; sisters Ruby Bryant, Geneva Hopper, Ester Kell, brother Jessie Bryant; and grandson Danny Wayne Hughes.

Goldie is survived by one sister Della Harmon, one daughter Donita Kell Hughes (Danny Hughes), grandson Jason Hughes (Shana), granddaughters Andrea Hughes, and Jaime Hughes Lunsford (Terry Logan), 4 great grandchildren Karle Ray Carter, Otis Hughes, Ellie Grace and Danielle Lunsford. She had one special friend Shelia Walters.

Funeral services are 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 9, 2023, at Free Union Separate Baptist Church, with Bro. Robert Knight officiating. Interment will follow in Free Union Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jason Hughes, Terry Logan Lunsford, Clay Roy, Michael McGowan, Dickie Bryant and Dustin McGowan.

Visitation will be held after 10:00 a.m., Thursday, at Free Union Separate Baptist Church, until time for funeral services.
