Orangeburg - Danny Lewis Headden Sr., 47, of 3274 Hart St., died Monday, March 7, 2005. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 10, at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg with the Rev. Edward Tager officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Orangeburg. Pallbearers will be Travis E. Birchmore, Traywick Birchmore, Ernest Headden, Ronnie Craven, Edward Roe and Mike Corbett. Honorary pallbearers will be Dock M. Brunson, Dr. J.Y. White and Dr. Gordon Wiegle. Mr. Headden was born Aug. 29, 1957, in Orangeburg, a son of Lindbergh Headden and Laudine Cooper Headden. He attended Columbia Road Church of God. Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lindbergh (Laudine) Headden, of the home; two sons, Danny Lewis 'Jamey' Headden Jr., of Orangeburg and Benjamin Lucas Headden, of Aiken; two granddaughters, Ashlie Headden and Kayla Headden, both of Orangeburg; four sisters, Mr. and Mrs. Dave (Deborah) Lowe, of Phoenix, Ariz., Mr. and Mrs. Edward (Linda) Birchmore, of Orangeburg, Mr. and Mrs. Steve (Brenda) Padgett, of Neeses, and Miss Becky Headden, of Columbia; two aunts, Mr. and Mrs. Dock (Sybil) Brunson, of Norway and Mrs. and Mrs. Ted (Virginia) Jackson, of Charleston; and a number of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Thompson Funeral Home Inc. in Orangeburg. Friends may call at the residence, 3274 Hart St., Orangeburg, and at the funeral home.
