Obituary

Patrick Henry McEveney, son of Terrence and Catherine McEveney, was born in Illinois March 5, 1862, and died at Lincoln, Nebr., Dec. 28, 1903, age 41 years, 9 months and 26 days.

He came with his parents to Nebraska in 1879. His life has spent in Butler County. The deceased was baptized in infancy in the Roman Catholic Church.

For several years he has been in failing health. He leaves a mother, one brother and two sisters and many friends to mourn his departure.

The funeral was held at the home in the presence of mother, brother and sisters - one of the sisters coming from her home in Illinois and many friends, Rev. W. T. Cline, pastor of the M. E. church, conducting the last rites, and interment took place in Circle Mound Cemetery.

The sorrowing ones have the sympathy of the entire community in their bereavement.
