O.B. Burton, retired farmer who attended his brother's funeral Tuesday, died of a heart attack late Tuesday night at his home near Cooter. He was 74.

Mr. Burton had attended services for his brother, Robert Lee Burton at Steele, Tuesday afternoon.

Mr. Burton was born in Obion, Tenn., but had farmed in Southeast Missouri most of his life.

Services were at 2 Friday afternoon at the Holly Grove Baptist Church at Cooter with the Rev. W.E. Hall officiating. Burial was in Cooter Cemetery with Cobb Funeral Home in charge.

He leaves his wife, Mrs. Sarah Burton of Cooter, five sons, Estree Burton of Steele, Leonard Burton of Memphis, Robert Burton of Little Rock, Ark., Lemmie Burton of East St. Louis, Ill., and Omer Burton of Kansas, City, Kan.; a daughter Mrs. Macel Graves of Peoria, Ill.; three brothers, Harry Burton of Pascola, Mo.; Lemmie Burton of Memphis and Odie Burton of Caruthersville; and three sisters, Mrs. Mae Walls and Mrs. Lennie Ketchum, both of Steele, and Mrs. Onie Graham of Blytheville.
