Reverend Dr. Ronald G. died Thursday, August 30, 2012, in Vicksburg, Miss.

He was born Aug. 2, 1938 in Joplin, Mo., the son of the late Jack Couch and Nadine (Sours).

He graduated from the St. Paul School of Theology, Kansas City, Mo., with a Ph.D. and his Masters of Divinity.

Ronald was the pastor at several churches throughout the Midwest for over 30 years.

He was an avid Genealogist a Master Taxidermist and Artist.

Survived by his wife, Emily, daughters, Bennye Gill (Rodney Long), Rockford, Ill., Deanna Hafer, Kansas City, Georgianne Bear, Independence, Mo., sons, Jackie Couch (Mary), Kansas City, Ronnie Couch (Sheri), Cannon Falls, Minn.; sisters, Karen (Ben) Johnson, Carthage, Mo., Lanna (Bob) Gaines, Freeman, Mo., and a brother Nick (Karen) Couch, Carthage

16 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Shirley Jean (Roller), a daughter Judy, and a brother Jacky.

Ron will be missed and loved by all who knew him.
