Betty J. Johnson, 75 of Eldon, Missouri passed away Saturday May 12, 2012 at St. Mary's Health Center in Jefferson City, Missouri. On August 11, 1936 she was born in St. Elizabeth, Missouri the daughter of the late William Nelson and Ida Maude (Barnhart) Ahart. On July 3, 1955 in Eldon, Missouri she was united in marriage to Earl Dean Johnson who survives of the home.
Other survivors include her daughters, Cindy Rychtera of Eldon, Melody Johnson of Rocky Mt., Stacey Hood of Camdenton, Kimberly Wood of Rolla and Amy Polly of Eldon; sons, Stephen E. Johnson of Republic, Michael D. Johnson of Eldon, Robert A. Johnson of Eldon, Kevin B. Johnson of Four Seasons, Brian J. Johnson of Kansas City, MO and Jason D. Johnson of Kansas City, MO; twenty-one grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and three sisters. Her parents, and seven siblings preceded Betty in death. She attended the Assembly of God Church in Eldon, MO.
Visitation will be held on Thursday May 17, 2012 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with the Funeral Service on Friday May 18, 2012 also at Phillips Funeral Home with Rev. Buena Huffman officiating. Interment will follow at the Eldon City Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon.
