Lloyd J. Axlell, 69, of 2101 Isett avenue, died at his home at 3:05 p.m. Monday after an illness of four months. He was born Oct. 16. 1892 in Louisa county, a son of Perry E. and Martha J. Kemp Axtell. Most of his life had been spent in this community, with the exception of eight years at Williamsburg, while he was employed at the Amana refrigeration plant. He married Sarah Fischer Dec. 9, 1916, at Muscatine. His second, marriage was to Lenora Whitlow Fischer Nov. 3. 1945 at Monroe, Wis.
