Axie Doty Cooper passed away October 18, 1990. She was born January 25, 1909 in Thalia, Texas, a daughter of George and Axah Ponder Doty. She married R.H. Cooper July 21, 1928 and they lived and farmed their entire lives in the Thalia Community. Axie was a graduate of Thalia High School. She is survived by her husband, R.H.; one son, Bob Cooper and one daughter, Jane Cooper Carlton of Vernon, Texas; four grandchildren and two sisters. There were 10 children in her family: Homer, Lucile, Irene, Inez, Celest, Elizabeth, Axah, Jack and Georgia. Interment was in Wilbarger Memorial Park.
