Thomas Clarence Davis, age 89, retired Hendricks County farmer, died Friday at
North Salem. Native of this county, he had lived in or near North Salem all his
life.
Born June 15, 1871, he was a son of Walter and Mary Scott Davis. In 1892 he
married Ella Leach. He was a member of the North Salem Methodist Church; the F.
and A. M. No. 142, and the Order of the Eastern Star.
Surviving are the widow; a daughter, Mamie Schwartz, Danville, and one brother,
L. H. Davis, Sacramento, Calif.
Services were at the Methodist Church Sunday afternoon in charge of the Rev.
John Deal. Burial was in the North Salem cemetery.
