About 2011, I (Travis S. Hobbs, Contributor ID: 50195088) was given a set of 10 or so antique scrapbooks that were purchased at a rummage sale in Anderson, Indiana. All of the scrapbooks appear to have been compiled by Clara (Davidson) Mitchell, daughter of Martha Ellen (Davis) Davidson and granddaughter of Walter Davis. They contain a great deal of genealogical information that would be of interest to the Davis family, namely photographs, letters, handwritten genealogies, and even locks of children's hair. They are of no use to me whatsoever, but if a descendant of this family will contact me, I will be glad to send the entire set of scrapbooks to you.
