She was the matriarch of a large, highly regarded East Adair County, Kentucky, family. She leaves 19 direct and eight step descendants. She was a homemaker.

Helen Louise Bryant Tiller, 80 years of the Sano Community, in Adair County, Kentucky, passed away suddenly, Wednesday. August 29, 2012 at 7:53 pm CT, at the Westlake Regional Hospital Emergency Room in Columbia, Kentucky.

Funeral services will be Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 10 am CT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, Kentucky, with Rev. Richie Curtis officiating. Interment will be in in the Freedom Cemetery, 576 Freedom Church Road, Columbia, Kentucky. The family request visitation after 4 pm CT, on Friday, August 31, 2012, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary.

She was born September 29, 1931 in the Sano area of Adair County the daughter of the late Elzia and Nola Cravens Bryant. She died Wednesday, August 29, 2012 in Columbia, Adair County, Kentucky, at the age of 80 years, 11 months.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Tiller on December 7, 1996, and by one son, Bobby Tiller on November 18, 1958, and by two brothers Tommy Bryant and Kenneth Bryant and by a son in law, Rev. Doug Wilcoxson.

She is survived by the following:

• Her children: Janet Corbin and husband Ronnie of Columbia, Kentucky; Ronnie Tiller and wife Sharon of Columbia, Kentucky; Michael Tiller and wife Linda of Columbia, Kentucky; Linda Cook and husband Ronald of Columbia, Kentucky; Regina Pinkerton and husband Daniel of Warren, Indiana

• One brother: Walker Bryant of Columbia, Kentucky

• Six grandchildren

• Two step grandchildren

• Eight great grandchildren

• And six step great grandchildren
