Eithel Wilson, 54, Dies at home Here; Rites Tomorrow. Mrs. Eithel Tennessee Wilson died at 8:00 o'clock Saturday night at her home, 1403 south 26th street, at the age of 54 years, ten months and nine days.Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:00 am at Myers chapel. The Rev. Marsh Harpole will officiate and burial will be in Old Shiloh cemetery. The body will remain at Myers Chapel, where friends may call at any time until the funeral hour.
Mrs. Wilson was born May 5, 1898 in Jefferson county, the daughter of Ezra and Permelia Mae (Hicks) Ferguson. She was married to Roy Wilson, who survives. She was a member of the Antioch Baptist church.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Winston and Roy Lee, at home; six daughters, Mrs. Clyde Henkesiefken of Topeka, Kansas, Mrs. Nelda Waller, Mrs. Melvin Whisenhutn, Mrs. William Sadler and Mrs. Leroy Reynolds, all of Mt. Vernon and Miss Dorothy Wilson, at home; two sisters, Mrs. Winnie Mullins of Salem and Mrs. Coleman Six of Dixon; four brothers, Alson Ferguson of Herrin, Dalton Ferguson of Kell, Howard Ferguson of Mt. Vernon and Harrold Ferguson of Salem; two half-sisters, Mrs. L.C. Boothby of Salem and Mrs. Norma Hertenstein of Bonnie; and eight grandchildren.A daughter, Winona, preceded her in death.
