Mrs. Edward W. Altenbern, 74, passed away about 10:30 o'clock this morning at her home in Lanark, following an illness of several weeks. Mrs. Altenbern was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Cool, and was born Nov. 30, 1868, at Cordova. She is survived by her husband, three sisters, Mrs. R. L. Park, of Carlsbad, Calif., Mrs. H. H. Beale, of Red Cloud, Nebr., and Mrs. Grace Mayo, of Chicago, and one brother, Louis Cool, of Hawthorne, Calif. Funeral services will be held at 1 o'clock Thursday afternoon from the Frank funeral chapel In Lanark. Burial will be made at Cordova.
