DENMARK - Funeral services for Levi S. Jones, Sr., 68, will be conducted at 3:30 p. m. Thursday from the Denmark Baptist Church by his pastor, The Rev. E. C. Tschudy, assisted by the Rev. James F. McLain. Interment will be in the Denmark Cemetery.
Mr. Jones, a lifelong resident of the Denmark community, was a member of the Denmark Methodist Church and the Woodmen of the World. He was twice married, first to the Mrs. Mary Darnell Jones, who died several years ago.
Survivors of the first marriage include five children, L. S. Jones, Jr., Mrs. E. E. Zeigler, Mrs. M. C. Harris, Jr. and Mrs. C. E. Dyches, all of Denmark, and Mrs. F. A. Sanders of Cincinnati, Ohio, a number of grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
His second marriage was to Mrs. Linnie Bell Sandifer Jones, who survives along with a step-daughter, Mrs. Vera Sandifer Dannerly and a step-granddaughter.
