She migrated to Barton County, Kansas with her brother, Morton John Cramer, in 1879 following the death of her father in Dec of 1879. In the 1880 Census of Barton County, Kansas she is noted to be too ill to work. She married in Barton County, Kansas (Book A:261), John A. Reed who was born in Illinois. Per her death certificate, Nina was buried in the Irving Park Cemetery in the City of Chicago, Illinois on Jan 31, 1942.
