Anna was born the daughter of Daniel and Emeline (Broughton) Lobdell in Herkimer County, New York. She married (1) Daniel McClure and gave birth to one child, Mary Jane, by this marriage. She married (2) on April 30, 1861 in Noble County, Indiana, Henry Cramer a son of Conrad and Magdalena (Rickard) Cramer. Mable (Cramer) Tucker, a daughter of Henry Lamont Cramer, late of Marion, Indiana, stated that her grandmother was buried next to her grandfather, Henry Cramer, per her grandmother's request. Mable also states that upon her father's death he was buried next to his mother, Anna "Nancy Anne", in the Swan Township Cemetery, per his request.
