Mr. and Mrs.J. T. Blunkall, of Hamilton City, arrived in Red Bluff on Monday evening's train, accompanying the body of their 10 year old daughter, Venus, who passed away in her mother's arms within a mile of Chico at 9:30 Monday evening, while being taken from Hamilton City to Chico to see a doctor.
The child was pushed and fell while at school almost a month ago. The parents claim that the arm was bandaged too tightly and that paralysis followed, which affected the child's heart. They are heart broken over the death of their loved one and they charge the physician with bandaging the arm too tightly.
The father of the child is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Blukall of Red Bluff and he is a constable at Hamilton City. The parents were accompanied form Chico by Mr. Blunkall's sister, Mrs. Lizzie Cameron.
The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon from the Methodist Church.
