Biography
Solomon Seal was born in Belmont Ohio late in 1848, however, his parents moved the family to Brown County Indiana before the 1850 census. When Solomon was about 4 years old, his parents died of typhoid in January and March of 1853. The children went back to Ohio and were raised by relatives. Solomon is found living with his uncle on the 1860 Census in Belmont Ohio. By 1868 Solomon found his way back to Brown County Indiana, met and married his first wife Sarah E. Cook, whose family was also from the Belmont/Monroe county area of Ohio about the same time as Solomon's parents. Solomon and his new wife moved to nearby Bartholomew county to start their family. Solomon and Sarah had at least 3 children before she died in 1885.

On September 27, 1888, Solomon married his second wife Lucinda Matlock in Brown County, Indiana. They may have had a male child born 31 Jan 1890 but this info in unclear.
Lucinda died in 1891.

Between 1891 and 1896, Solomon returned to Ohio and on June 14, 1896 he married his 3rd wife Maria Jane Keyser in Belmont county Ohio.

Then on November 9, 1918 in he married Mary E McConnaha Place
Solomon died a widower on 26 Oct 1934 in Taylorsville, Brown, Indiana and is buried at Rest Haven Cemetery, Edinburgh, Johnson, Indiana
