Phebe was the daughter of Godfrey Aplin, whose gravesite is not yet documented, and Lavina Taylor Henning Aplin.

This location is in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

The Delta County, Michigan, Genealogical Society online grave listings that show Phebe in Section 20 (records page 42) do not seem to show her husband or father or brother Richard there with her. (See http://dcmigs.org/cemetery/escanaba_twp/fernwood_se-z.htm )

Another report, from LDS (See https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/FHXZ-ZZ8 )

Phoebe was married twice: First to George W. Coon, with whom she had four children. Sons John, Frank and Charles, and daughter Ida Frances. Frank lived with Phoebe's sister Mary (Mrs. James) Cobb in the 1880 census for Troy, Athens, Ohio, before the Cobbs also moved to Wood County, Ohio.). When Phoebe remarried to John Webster in Washington County, Ohio, the next census called son Charles Coon as Charles Webster, but his burial name shows as Coon. All of her sons joined her in Michigan.

It is not yet clear whether daughter Ida Frances is the same as "infant Coon" buried in 1869 with Phoebe's first husband or whether Ida Frances was a surviving daughter of the couple. No Ida shows with the couple in the 1870 census. It is possible that the subsequent reports for Ida Frances Coon are conflations with George's brother Weeden who also had a daughter Ida, who did survive, while George's Ida may be the child buried with him.

Adding to family confusion, Phoebe/Phebe is mistakenly called "Appleton" or "Applin" in some sources. A Coon genealogy calls her Appleton. Similarly, a printed profile about her half-brother William Henning's family in Ohio calls her brother, Henning's half-brother, as Joseph Appleton, when it actually was Aplin, as in Phebe's case.

Curiously, Phebe Aplin Coon Webster's mother was referred to, below, as "Mrs. Taylor, " which actually was her maiden name. Phebe's mother Lavina Taylor Hening/Henning Aplin was married for sure twice (Henning then Aplin) and maybe three times and reverted to her Taylor maiden name between each, initially making her very difficult to locate or confirm. Her tombstone calls her Aplin, her final marriage.
