WINGO, Ky. -- L.J. Boyd, 84, of Wingo died at 3:50 a.m. Sunday at Parkway Regional Hospital in Fulton.
Mr. Boyd was a retired farmer and a former magistrate of the first district of Graves County. He was of the Presbyterian faith.
Surviving are a son, Jeff Boyd of Wingo; a sister, Dorothy Haddad of South Fulton, Tenn.; a brother, Jimmy Boyd of Springfield, Mo.; two granddaughters; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Boyd; two sisters; and three brothers. His parents were Smith Boyd and Alma Pinson Boyd.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Brown Funeral Home in Wingo with the Rev. Danny Potts officiating. Burial will be in Water Valley Cemetery.
Friends may call after 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
