Johnny Newton Nunley, 75, went to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, Aug. 24, 2012. Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Mount Olivet Funeral Home.

Johnny was born Nov. 20, 1936, in Jacksboro to William B. and Ella Dee Nunley. He was a longtime member of North Pointe Baptist Church in Hurst. Survivors: Beloved wife of 49 years, Julie Rhodes Nunley; daughter, Lana Beth Bunch and husband, Roy; grandchild, Caleb John Bunch; brother, Jesse Nunley; and numerous other relatives and friends.
