Jewel Dean Qualls, 79, of Hot Springs died Monday, Oct. 11, 2004, in a local hospital.
Born Sept. 17, 1925, at Bengin to Bela Uriah and Mary Georgia Honeycutt Yeager, she was predeceased by six sisters, Mae Carter, Ercille Clark, Carrie Davis, Delma Echols, Erma Ross and Georgia Ann Yeager; and two brothers, David Yeager and James D. Yeager.
Survivors include her husband, John Qualls of Hot Springs; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Sharon Simonetta of Newborn, N.C., Sheila and Bill Weston of Hot Springs and Diane and Rocky White III of Bossier City, La.; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Ione Cox of Vancouver, Wash., and Mary Jo and Robert Koller of Hot Springs; four grandchildren, Brett Weston, Ryan Weston, Ben White and Jason White; and three great-grandchildren.
The service will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Caruth-Hale Funeral Home chapel with the Revs. Bob Clark and Ken Carney officiating. Pallbearers will be Jason White, Ben White, Ryan Weston, Brett Weston, Mike Koller and Bill Hale. Honorary pallbearers are Drs. Shawna Lucas and Kevin Hale, Mary Bell, St. Joseph's Home Health and the Revs. Jim Benfer and David Wilson.
Burial will be at Crestview Memorial Park.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today.
