Son of Bealer Uriah Yelton and Georgia Yelton, of Arkansas. He married Ruby Irene Yeager in 1934. They lived in Hot Springs, Garland Co., Arkansas.

He served in WWII. Serial # 38548507. He enlisted late in the War, on Jan. 27, 1944. He was shown on his draft records as being 6 ft. tall, weighing 160 lbs., with gray eyes, brown hair and a 'light' complexion. He was shown as being a 'carpenter', with 4 yrs. of high school education, and working for the W.P.A. Project.

David Burton Yeager, 88, of San Marcos died Thursday. He was born in Bingen, Ark., and was a carpenter for M.H. Golden Construction. Mr. Yeager served in the Army.
Survivors include his sons, Carl D. Yeager of San Marcos and Ruff B. Yeager of Oklahoma City; sisters, Ercille Clark, Jeweldean Qualls and Mary Jo Koller of Hot Springs, Ark.; 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation: 4 to 9 p.m. tomorrow, Greenwood Mortuary, Interstate 805 and Imperial Avenue, San Diego.
Services: 2 p.m. Wednesday, Calvary Baptist Church, 2432 E. 18th St., National City.
