31 Aug 1951 - Funeral services for Jimmie Nette, 42, who passes away at his home in Many Friday after a long illness, were conducted at St. John Catholic church 10 a.m. Saturday with Requiem High Mass by Rev. M. R. Gremillion, assisted by Rev. J. A. Benoit. Interment was under direction Warren funeral home.
Pallbearers were six nephews, Marvin Adams, Harold Derrick, George Nette, Jr., George Robert Nette, James Lamar Nette and Terry Lacaze.
Surviving relatives include: the widow, Mrs. Josephine Nette, Many; son, George Nette, Many; daughters, Misses Jimmie Faye, Joyce, and Bonnie Nette, all of Many; brothers, George Nette, Sour Lake, Texas, Levi Nette, Needville, Texas, teddy Nette, Shreveport, Odis, Stean and Abbie Nette, all of Many; sisters, Mrs. G. H. DeBose, Many, and Mrs. Ora Lee Livingston, Alexandria.
