Howard F. Pate, 77, of 3152 NW 25, died Saturday in a local rest home. Services will be at 10 am Monday in Guardian Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Pate, a longtime insurance man, was born in Tipton, Indiana. He came to Oklahoma City in 1917 from Denver. Before retiring in 1954, he was a state agent for Commercial Union Insurance Co.
He was a 32nd degree Mason, a member of Blue Goose Lodge, Siloam Lodge, and Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Carrie; and four sons, Cliff, 1125 NW 55; George, 3209 NW 25; Jim, 3126 NW 24, and Harry, Amarillo.
