He is survived by his wife, Traci Pearson Arnold; three sons, Reece Arnold, III and wife Mary of Oklahoma, Jamer Ernest Arnold of New York, and Jeremy Scott Arnold of Georgia; two daughters, Harley Elizabeth and Janie Anne Arnold, both of the home; two step-sons, Travis Wesley Taylor of Cliffside and Dustin Bo Pearson of the home; one step-daughter, Diedre Diane Pearson of Mooresboro; one brother, John Arch Carpenter of Shelby; four sisters, Trudie Jones of Grover, Christine Beaver of Grover, Rebecca Faye Blackmon of Shelby and Mary Sue Leftwich of Shelby; his grandchildren, Miken Shane Arnold, Ean Scott Arnold, James Ernest Arnold, Jr., Kayman Alex Powell, Sybil Lindsay Powell, Damien Bobby Powell, and Rebekah Makayla Taylor.
Funeral:New Life Outreach with Pastor Jerry Owens and the Rev. Sheila Grigg officiating.
Burial:Cliffside Cemetery.
