ENID, Okla. — Mass of Christian burial for Mildred Busch, 89, will be noon Friday, Aug., 24, 2012, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Irwin officiating. Committal will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, 2012, in Calvary Cemetery, Wichita, Kan. Service is under the direction of Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home.

Mildred was born Feb. 20, 1923, in Chase, Kan., the daughter of Carl and Mamie (Feist) Busch and passed away Sunday, Aug. 19, 2012, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center, Enid.

Mildred spent her childhood in Chase, Kan. After graduation from what is now Kansas Newman College in Wichita she moved to Enid, where she and her younger sister, Mary, resided thereafter. She and Mary were happy in Enid, devoting most of their time and talent to their work at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center and their service at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.

In addition to Mary, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Carl, Irene, Harold and James "Jim," and her parents.

Mildred is survived by her brother, Art (Rev. Arthur A. Busch); sister, Kathryn Gleissner; sister-in-law, Joyce (Jim) Busch; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions can be given to the Priests' Education Fund in Honor of Carl and Mamie Busch with Henninger-Hinson Funeral Home acting as custodian of the funds.
