Ray Baldwin 83 of Springfield left thi life to meet our Lord, Savior, and Creator on August 21, 2012. Ray was born to Harvey and Mary Baldwin on December 19,1928 in Springfield Mo. Ray graduated from Springfield Senior High School. He retired in 1992 as Power Plant Supertendent. Ray married Betty Waddell on April 18, 1947. He was a member of Woodland Heights Presbyterian Church Gate of the Temple Masonic Lodge and Sams travel club.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey and Mary Baldwin, one brother, Edward L. Baldwin and one sister, ildred McFarland. He is survived by his wfe Betty Jo Baldwin, three children, Virginia Ann Crayson, David Ray, Baldwin and wife Sandra ay and Michael Daniel Baldwin and fiancee Jennifer Ann Rule, one sister, Marjorie Esther Peabody and husband Allen and a host of family and fiends.
Funeral services will be 2p.m. on Saturday August 25, 2012 at Greenlawn Funeral home north with Rev. Gregory Esselman and Rev John Tranbarger officiating with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will rceive friends from 1;30-1p.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
