From the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Tuesday, May 15, 1917, p. 6:
The announcement of the marriage of Miss Anseth Leaf Teel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Teel of North Henderson street, to Mr. D. H. Jones of Oklahoma City, comes as a surprise to their friends. The wedding took place Feb. 21 in Purcell, Okla. Miss Teel was visiting her aunt, Mrs. S. D. McElroy of Oklahoma City, and just a day before her departure for her home here, it was decided by the young people to have the wedding ceremony performed in Purcell. Her parents have been aware of the wedding a very short time and her friends knew nothing of it until Monday.
Mr. and Mrs. Jones are now in Dallas. They will be at home in Oklahoma City after May 25.
From the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Tuesday, May 23, 1989, Sec. 1, p. 17:
