NORA SPRINGS, IOWA - Mrs. Roy (Clara) Baker, 85, Nora Springs, died Tuesday (March 17, 1981) at a Mason City hospital.

She had lived most of her adult here, serving the Nora Springs area as a practical nurse for many years.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Friday at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Nora Springs, of which she was a member. The Rev. Herman Senft will officate.

Burial will be in Park Cemetery here. Visitation is until 9 tonight at Sheckler Funeral Home, Nora Springs, and at the church Friday from 10 a.m. until time of services. The family requests that instead of flowers memorials be given to St. Luke Lutheran Church or the crippled children's fund.

Mrs. Baker is survived by three sons, Jack Shinn, Evansville; James Shinn, Fiddleton, California, and two stepsons, DeLoss Baker, Mason City, and Dwight Baker, in Hawaii; two adopted children, Eddie Baker, Hampton; and Louise Anderson, Miami, Arizona; 22 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
