Jack E. Shinn, 83, of Evansdale, died Sunday, April 23, 2000, at his home of leukemia. He was born September 3, 1916, in Mason City, son of Edward and Clara Ryan Shinn. He married Helen M. Roggemann September 8, 1936, in Mason City. He is preceded in death by three daughters, Clara Mae in infancy, Jacqueline Means in 1992 and Barbara Lederman in 1998; two brothers, Jim and Steven Shinn; a stepbrother, Dwight Baker; and a sister, Evelyn in infancy.
