GREENFIELD -- Lillian E. Williams, 83, of 155 Leyden Road, died Saturday November 3, 2007 in Poet Seat Healthcare Center in Greenfield.
She was born in Westford, Vt., May 31, 1924, the daughter of Arthur Lee Roy and Nellie H. Archambault Barkyoumb.
She was educated in Vermont schools and graduated from Fairfax High School.
She was later married to Donald P. Williams Sr. in Fairfax, Vt., on March 15, 1952. They made their home in Vermont.
Lillian was a retired machine operator at Kendall Mills in Colrain. She was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses in Shelburne Falls and Greenfield.
Besides her husband, she leaves two sons,four daughters, a brother, two sisters, 17 grandchildren two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A son, Michael A. Williams, pre-deceased her.
She was also pre-deceased by two brothers, Kenneth Barkyoumb and Arthur Barkyoumb, and a sister, Barbara LeClair.
Calling hours will be Tuesday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Wrisley Funeral Home, South Deerfield.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall, 805 Bernardston Road, Greenfield.
