WESTFORD - John N. Barkyoumb, 81, of Westford, died at his home on Thursday, April 18, 2013, following a brief illness. John was born May 27, 1931, in Colchester, the son of the late LeRoy and Nellie Archambault Barkyoumb.
He was a dairy farmer for most of his life. He worked for a time for his nephew, Junior Drinkwine, driving truck. John is survived by his sister, Alice Collins and husband, Owen "Buzz," of Fairfax; brother-in-law, Donald Williams of Massachusetts; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Barbara, Kenneth, Shirley, Lillian and Pete.
There will be no visiting hours. A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 22, 2013, at 2 p.m. in St. Luke's Cemetery in Fairfax.
