BATON ROUGE, La. -- Mella Clark Sapp, 95, Baton Rouge, formerly of Henderson, died Monday, Nov. 28, 2005.

She worked for the City of Henderson in the tax department. She was a member of Broadmoor Presbyterian Church in Baton Rouge, a lifetime member of the Order of the Eastern Star and a Kentucky Colonel.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard W. Sapp, who died in 1961; and one daughter, Ann Jenkins.

Survivors include one daughter, Mollie Wilson of Baton Rouge; one son, John Howard Sapp of Glencoe, Mo.; one sister, Imogene Wissare of Pamona, Calif.; one brother, Frank E. Clark of Fenton, Mo.; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 9, at Fairmont Cemetery in Henderson.

There will be no visitation.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Broadmoor Presbyterian Church in Baton Rouge or the Presbyterian Church of Henderson.

Rabenhorst Funeral Homes in Baton Rouge is in charge of arrangements.
