H. B. Clark, Store Owner, Dies At 61
Herbert Blair Clark, owner and operator of Clark's Avondale Market, died of a heart attack Sunday, afternoon at his home on Blair Road, Reidland community. He was 61.

Mr. Clark was a native of New Madrid, Mo. He came here in 1948 from St. Louis, and established his grocery business at 600 N. 32nd St.

Mr. Clark was a member of First Baptist Church, Reidland Riding Club, Kentucky Retail Grocers Association, Plain City Masonic Lodge No. 449, and Meatcutters' Union No. 88 of St. Louis. He was also a past patron of Esther Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ruby Clark; a son, John Blair Clark of Fort Worth, Tex.; a daughter, Mrs. W. R. McBride of Huntsville, Ala.; his mother, Mrs. Iva Blair of St. Louis; a brother, Frank Clark of St. Louis; three sisters, Mrs. Robert Rigsby of St. Louis, Mrs. Howard Sapp of Henderson and Mrs. Robert Wissore of Pamona, Calif., and six grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Roth Funeral Chapel With the Rev. John Wood officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
